Stockport Sports Trust offer a wide variety of Swimming & Fitness Courses, which have been developed to provide quality training and support that is unsurpassed. Our qualifications cater for a wide variety of needs whether you want to become a Gym Instructor or Swimming Teacher.

Stockport Sports Trust provides training opportunities in nationally recognised vocational courses and qualifications.  As Stockport’s leading sports & leisure provider, the Trust continuously strives to provide top class learning opportunities for the Community of Stockport and the surrounding areas, by providing courses all directly linked to employment or further education.  All courses are led by fully qualified members of staff.

Stockport Sports Trust is an IQL (Institute of Qualified Lifeguards) Approved Centre, enabling individuals to gain the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. We are also an ASA approved centre (The Governing Body of Swimming), running swimming teacher training courses.  Qualifications are recognised professionally nationally and internationally.  In addition, the Sports Trust is registered to run STA (Swimming Teacher Association) courses.
